SHERIFF-EZECHI CRUSADERS FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE URGES OPPOSITION POLITICAL PARTIES IN DELTA STATE TO SHUN PRIMITIVE POLITICS
In a significant declaration following a meeting held in Kwale, Delta State, the Sheriff-Ezechi Crusaders for Good Governance (SECGG) has issued a clarion call to opposition political parties in Delta State, particularly the All Progressives Congress (APC), to abandon what they term “primitive politics.”
The SECGG, a dedicated pressure group committed to fostering good governance at the grassroots level in Delta State, aims to highlight the strengths of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in comparison to other political parties across Nigeria. The pressure group is steadfast in rallying support for Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, and other PDP candidates as the 2027 general elections approach.
In their communique, the group emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration, urging opposition parties to adopt a more constructive approach. They pointed out that the current administration, led by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi in Ndokwa nation, has consistently demonstrated a commitment to inclusive governance. This approach stands in stark contrast to the adversarial stance often adopted in political discourse.
The communique further reminded opposition parties that Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori serves as the Governor for all Deltans, while Rt. Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi represents the interests of all Ndokwa people in the House of Representatives. The group cautioned that the actions and inactions of political players can have far-reaching implications for the well-being of all citizens, regardless of their political affiliations.
As such, the SECGG called upon all Deltans to unite in support of their leaders, encouraging them to steer Delta State towards a future that exemplifies excellence and becomes a model for other states in Nigeria.
The communique was officially signed by Mr. Lucky Dikadi Chukwunedum and Comr. Emmanuel Obah, underscoring the collective voice of the SECGG in this vital call for political maturity and cooperation.
