DELTA SSA FORUM NICKNAME GOVERNOR SHERIFF OBOREVWORI “MR DEVELOPMENT” ENDORSES HIM FOR RE-ELECTION
Asaba, Delta State – In a significant show of unity and support, the Delta State Senior Special Assistants (SSA) Forum convened on Tuesday, 25th February 2025, at Unity Hall, in the Delta State Government House.
The meeting, attended by members of the forum from all local governments in Delta State, focused on pivotal issues impacting the state and reaffirmed their commitment to the development agenda of the state under the leadership of Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
During the meeting, the forum unanimously adopted two major resolutions. The first was a heartfelt recognition of Governor Oborevwori’s exceptional contributions to the state’s progress, which led to the decision to nickname him “Mr. Development.” Hon. Lucky Dikadi, the chairman of the forum, moved the motion to nickname the governor “Mr. Development” and the motion was seconded by Chief Eta Kingsley from Delta Central, highlighting the governor’s significant achievements in infrastructural renewal, human capital development, and economic growth. The forum members expressed their gratitude for his dedication to the welfare of all Deltans.
In a show of solidarity, the forum also declared its unwavering support for the re-election of Governor Oborevwori for a second term from 2027 to 2031.
The members emphasized that his continued leadership is essential for consolidating the gains of his MORE Agenda, which aims to foster sustained development across the state. They pledged to actively mobilize grassroots support to ensure a resounding victory in the upcoming elections.
The Delta State SSA Forum remains committed to advancing the interests of Delta State and urged all citizens to continue backing the visionary leadership of Governor Oborevwori.
The meeting concluded with a strong resolve among the members to work collaboratively towards achieving the forum’s objectives and enhancing the quality of life for all Deltans.
